Scope and Contents
A printed map entitled 'North Formosa' by J.W. Patersson, Customs Service, 1882, showing the area between approximately 120° 50' and 122° East and 24° 30' and 25° 20' North, including notes on the geography of Taiwan. The scale is not given. The map was a supplement to the 'Hongkong Daily Press', 21 October 1884. It is labelled on the reverse in Parkes' hand 'Sent by Forrest' (Robert James Forrest?).
