Circular letter from Earl of Clarendon, 1870
Scope and Contents
A copy of a circular letter from the Foreign Office to Her Majesty's consuls in China, the vice-consuls at Taku and Tamsui, the consuls in Japan, and the vice-consul at Yedo, 11 February 1870. The handwriting is identical to that of Parkes 16/6.
