Scope and Contents
'Colquhoun's Expedition through Southern China to Burmah, Sketch of Proposed Route': a map, commentary and title panel by Charles Wahab, mounted on one sheet and labelled 'Copy for Sir Henry Parkes. 9 January 1882' and 'Please return A.R.C. [Archibald Ross Colquhoun] 1.2.82'. The map shows Colquhoun's proposed route, along with those of William John Gill (1879), the Revd James McCarthy (1878), Augustus Raymond Margary (1875), Jean Dupuis (1869), Marie Joseph François Garnier (1868) and (Alexander?) McLeod (1836).
