Scope and Contents

A small set of letters and other documents regarding City Hall, Hong Kong: three items of correspondence between D.G.M. Bernard, London, and G.L. Allardyce, Edinburgh, 20-26 July 1932, regarding settling the claim on City Hall arising from the estate of the late Sir R.W.B. Jardine; a manuscript regarding the lease on the City Hall site, undated, including a loose plan, labelled Section 7, depicting the hall's position; and a copy of a letter from C.W. Murray, Hong Kong, to 'Jardine', 10 March 1863, regarding the hall. The envelope is numbered 2, and is labelled 'City Hall - Hong Kong'.
