Typescript copies of correspondence between Matheson & Co. Ltd and Chabrières, Morel et Cie, Marseille, 22 May 1915-10 September 1920, regarding the agreement for the latter company to sell Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd's general products in France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Adriatic and the Mediterranean. The correspondence is followed by a letter from M.M. Chabrières to David Landale, London, 6 October 1923, and a typescript copy of his reply of 11 October 1923, regarding the earlier correspondence and any implications for the agreement between Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd and Chabrières, Morel et Cie arising from the latter company conducting business in Belgium, Holland and Germany during 1920-1923. There is also a short manuscript note which describes Chabrières, Morel et Cie's business in these countries during this period. The envelope is labelled 'arrangement with Chabrieres, Morel et Cie (copies of correspondence) (China Produce)' and 'No. 2 Tin Box'. There is also a short note on the contents, dated June 1923.
