Scope and Contents
Manuscript letters from employees of the Hong Kong & China Gas Co. Ltd, Hong Kong, to Jardine Matheson & Co., with related documents. Most of the letters are from W.S. Bamsey (Resident Engineer), Frank Collins (Local Secretary), and George Weller to Jardine Matheson & Co., the company's local agents; David Landale; or H.W. Bell. There is also related correspondence, including press copies of letters from Collins to the Secretary of the Hong Kong China Gas Co. Ltd, London, and other items, such as contract notes and memoranda from Hughes & Hough, Hong Kong, to Jardine, Matheson & Co.
