Correspondence regarding the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co Ltd and other shipping issues, comprised of correspondence between Jardine Matheson, Hong Kong, Jardine Matheson, Shanghai, Jardine Matheson, Tientsin, Jardine Matheson, Tokyo, and Matheson & Co. Ltd, London; correspondence between Jardine Matheson, Hong Kong and Shanghai, and the China Ocean Shipping Agency, Shanghai; and many other letters, including correspondence between Butterfield & Swire, Tientsin, and R.B. Miss, Manager, A.P. Pattison & Co., Tientsin. There are also many related papers, including extracts of telephone conversations between Jardine Matheson, Hong Kong and Shanghai, and a handing-over memorandum prepared for H.H. Lennox by W.G. Johns, Shipping Manager, Shanghai, regarding the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co. Ltd, dated Shanghai, 8 May 1951, 21 pages. Some documents are in Chinese. The folder is labelled 'Indo-China' and 'Shipping General' and is numbered 405.
