Scope and Contents
The ring-binder is labelled '1950/51 Tea (3) Tea Policy' and '7. Exports', and is divided into two sections:
1. General: correspondence between Jardine Matheson, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo, 4 January-15 May 1950, with a tea memorandum by the Tea Department, Hong Kong, on direct business with North Africa.
2. Tea Policy: correspondence (including extracts of letters) between Jardine Matheson, Hong Kong, Jardine Matheson, Shanghai, and Matheson & Co. Ltd, London, with related papers, including memoranda, 30 December 1949-22 August 1951.
