Scope and Contents
The ring-binder is labelled '1950/51 Tea (1) Hong Kong' and '5. Exports', and is divided into three sections:
1. General: correspondence (including telegrams and extracts of letters) between Jardine Matheson, Hong Kong, Jardine Matheson, Taipei, and Matheson & Co. Ltd, London (mostly between Hong Kong and London), 15 December 1950-18 December 1951.
2. Monthly Financial Position: monthly and other financial statements of the Tea Department, Jardine Matheson, Hong Kong, 17 May 1950-1 May 1951.
3. Tea Position: statements of the Tea Department's position as at 20 October 1950-28 December 1951, with some related correspondence.
