Copies of private letters from David Landale, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Yokohama, to correspondents in London, Hong Kong, New York, Shanghai and elsewhere. The principal addressees are C.E. Anton; Messrs Henry S. King; Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation; John Johnstone; Henry Keswick; A.R. Riddle; and C.H. Ross. The bound letters are dated 28 August 1913-25 June 1920. There are also some loose letters and drafts of 1913-1922 and undated.
