Scope and Contents

Private letter book no. 1 containing copies of letters from William Keswick to correspondents in China, Hong Kong, Great Britain, Europe, the United States and elsewhere. The addressees include C.E. Anton, B.D.F. Beith, D.G.M. Bernard, J.J. Bell-Irving, C.W. Dickson, W.J. Gresson, Sir R.W.B. Jardine, J.J. Keswick, G.L. Montgomery and James Steuart. Most of the volume is comprised of press copies, but there are some typescript copies towards the end. A set of loose letters found in the volume has been stored in a separate envelope. The volume is labelled on the spine 'W. Keswick Ex Private No. 1'.
