Copies of private and confidential letters nos 1-7, 4 January-18 October 1956, and 8-19, 16 January-11 November 1957, from J.H. Keswick and W.J. Keswick, Matheson & Co. Ltd, London, to G.J.P. Carey, Jardine, Matheson & Co. (Caribbean) Ltd, Port of Spain, with related letters and papers. The file also includes a copy of R.G. P. & C. no. 1 from W.J. Keswick, [London], to R. Gordon, Port of Spain, 23 September 1957; an original handwritten letter, R.G. P. & C. no. 1, from R. Gordon, Port of Spain, to W.J. Keswick, [London], 16 September 1957, with a typescript copy; and a copy of R.G. P. & C. no. 1 from R. Gordon, [Port of Spain], to H. Barton, [Jardine Matheson, Hong Kong], 14 November 1957. The R.G. letters concern G.J.P. Carey's personal circumstances. The folder is labelled 'File I'.
