Scope and Contents
The last will and testament of Alexander Shank of Canton, missing the end, including the date [Canton, 3 November 1814]. There is also a wrapper labelled by Shank as containing his will, and dated Canton, 3 November 1814; a document containing alterations and codicils to the will, dated Canton River, 6 November 1816; a note in Spanish signed by Shank, 15 November 1815; and a wrapper addressed by Shank to his executors, Henry Shank and Charles Magniac.
