Scope and Contents
A copy of a power of attorney granted by Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd to John Johnstone, the company's new Managing Director in the East, conferring the right to exercise in Hong Kong, China, Japan and elsewhere other than the United Kingdom all powers, rights, discretions and authorities exercised by the company's Senior Managing Director, 14 May 1919.
