Power of attorney of William Keswick, 1870

Scope and Contents

An envelope containing a power of attorney granted by William Keswick of Victoria, Hong Kong, temporarily residing at Shanghai, joint administrator (with Theophilus Gee Linstead of Victoria) of the estate of Henry Davies Margesson of Victoria, deceased, to James Whittall to represent Keswick as administrator of the aforementioned estate, dated Shanghai, 11 May 1870. The envelope also contains a letter from T.G. Linstead to Whittall, 16 May 1870, enclosing two cheques (not included) on behalf of Keswick, relating to Margesson's estate, for him to sign and return.
