Scope and Contents

A grant from Francis Charles Hastings, Duke of Bedford, to Charles Magniac of Colworth, Bedfordshire, of the advowson of Knotting-cum-Souldrop, Bedfordshire, 29 September 1881. There is also an extract from the Act Book of the Lord Bishop of Lincoln, 2 April 1882, recording John Webster Hawksley's institution to the Rectory of Knotting with Souldrop, and an extract from the Act Book of the Lord Bishop of Ely, 9 May 1856, recording the institution of George Didby Newbolt to the rectorship in succession to Hawksley.
