Scope and Contents

A certificate by Thomas Lavender, master, and Mason Dingley, mate, of the ship 'America', lately arrived at Canton from New York, swearing that the sixty boxes of claret wine listed on the reverse of the document, consigned to Charles Magniac & Co., were actually delivered at Canton during the period specified, dated Canton, 9 December 1823.
