Scope and Contents

The bill of sale of the British barque 'James Shepherd' from James Shepherd, Asher Isaacs, Thomas Freeman and Cornelia Clarissa Freeman to Alexander Perceval, merchant, of Victoria, Hong Kong, April 1862, with a power of attorney granted by the owners to Dent & Co., merchants of Hong Kong, and to George Purdy, the ship's master, to sell the vessel, dated London, 1 January 1862.
