Scope and Contents

Copies of letters and circulars from correspondents in Bombay and other parts of India to Jardine Matheson, Macao, with a few letters to Alexander Matheson (of Jardine Matheson, Macao), and related accounts and certificates of survey concerning tea. The authors include Framjee Cowasjee; Cursetjee Ardaseer & Co.; Bhimjee Deneraz; Forbes, Forbes & Co.; Dhunjeebhoy Framjee; J.R. Hadow; Huttasung Kesrising & Co.; Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy, Sons & Co.; Rustomjee Jejeebhoy; M.T. Kays; H.H. Lindsay; Maddonjee Nanjee & Co.; Magniac, Jardine & Co.; James Matheson; W.R. Merritt; Karrumchund Premchund; and Remington & Co. There are also copies and extracts of letters from correspondents in Great Britain to Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy and Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy, Sons & Co., Bombay.
