Scope and Contents
Melton (p.58) Agreement between GILBERT PECHE and GEOFFREY OF ESTON son of ROGER OODE: since Gilbert has received the rights to ten acres of land which were Roger's in Melton and which were taken from ROBERT OODE on account of homicide, Gilbert grants them to Geoffrey, Robert's brother, 25 MAR 1222. Ufford (p.81) ROGER MANNYNG of Ufford grants to SIMON BROOK of Eston and ALICE, Roger's daughter, reversion of a messuage and all lands and property in Ufford, Melton and Bromeswell, on his death, 30 JUL 1453. Witnesses: Thomas Flyne, clerk, Thomas Gerion[?], Stephen Toneld[?], Richard Baa, Richard Cachepol.
