'Dead Book' for 1902-1903 from experiments in poultry breeding by Bateson and Punnett. This is the second of eight books recording eggs which were addled, sterile or failed to hatch, and also chicks which hatched but died shortly afterwards.

The notebook begins with a list of birds numbered [W] 886-975 [pp. i-v], followed by pages numbered 0-169 recording dead birds for 1902 [page 1:0 ff.]. The pagination sequence then begins again for dead birds for 1903 (paginated 0-123) [page 2:0]. There are drawings of foot deformities on [pp. 64 and 166].
