Scope and Contents
Laboratory notebook containing records for poultry breeding lines W 1-311 (birds hatched between January and April 1904).
Entries for each bird include notes on colour, comb and other physical characteristics, state of health, and cause of death or whether kept, etc. The entries for birds W 56 and W 144 include drawings of their combs [pp. 58v and 146v]. Birds W 67 [page 69v] and W 90 [page 92v] are marked 'important' and 'very important' respectively.
