Scope and Contents
Laboratory notebook containing records for poultry breeding lines A, B, C, and D (continued from the notebook at [MS Add.10161/1/1/1]).
Entries begin with notes on breeding crosses, progeny and sexing, followed [on page 6r] by individual records for birds which hatched between March and May 1899, beginning with bird A 1. These include notes on colour, comb, weight, and other physical characteristics (e.g. crooked feet), health, and cause of death, etc. A sketch of a comb is included on [page 25v].
