Letters from Katherine Asquith to Siegfried Sassoon, 1958-1961
Scope and Contents
Mostly written while Asquith was in hospital, thanking Sassoon for gifts of poetry, flowers and books, and commenting on religious faith and her health troubles. The series also includes a letter to Mother Margaret Mary. Originally housed in an envelope marked 'Katherine Asquith The Manor House Kells' (MS Add.9852/9/9/1).
