'Three Poems - The Tasking', 1947-1955 (circa)
Scope and Contents
Notebook comprising fair copies and revised drafts of poems, many of which were to be published in 'The Tasking' (1954), with one later addition dated 1955. It is inscribed on the upper cover 'Three Poems - The Tasking', with a watercolour illustration inside the front cover of a figure bent over a candle. Three later poems are also enclosed ('Deliverance', 'Serene Unselfdom' and 'Beyond') along with related items.
