The volume contains diary entries for 30 Sep. 1927 - 21 May 1928, transcribed by Sassoon from his original diaries at MS Add.9852/1/26-27. The entries are heavily abridged and often reworked, with occasional annotations. Entries are arranged in two columns, numbered consecutively.
