Correspondence concerning the exhibition 'Printing and the mind of man' and the resulting books in English and German, 1962-1968
Scope and Contents
Steinberg was a member of the Historical sub-committee of the exhibition, chaired by P. M. Muir, and a contributor to the volume edited by Muir and John Carter. A German translation was published by Prestel Verlag. Most of the correspondence is with Muir and Carter. Other correspondents include F. A. Brockhaus, Kurt Busse, Cassell and Company Ltd, Frank Francis, Prestel Verlag (Gustav Stresow), J. S. G. Simmons.
