Stephen Gooden, 1926-1958
Scope and Contents
The letters from Gooden include an undated one in verse below an engraved headpiece. With these are an exchange of letters between Meynell and Harold Hartley (1958) and examples of engravings by Gooden for the Nonesuch Press. These include a headpiece marked on the verso by Meynell 'Stephen Gooden made this for me, but it was not used in any book.'
