Scope and Contents
Original typescript of 13 pages with alterations in ms. and on attached slips; partial marked galley proof and letters from the editor Thomas Moult. The article was published in Poetry Review 50 (1959), 80-83, 153-157. This was a talk to the Poetry Society in Oct. 1958, given again with the title 'Francis Thompson: 16 Dec. 1859 - 13 Nov. 1907' to a meeting of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs in Ipswich on 26 November 1959. The typescript is altered for this talk.
