Scope and Contents
Correspondence includes communications for SERC (Science and Engineering Research Council), discussions about the length and cost of the La Cotte volume, updates on the writing progress, and the move from a book contract with Academic Press Inc to Geo Books. In addition to correspondence about the La Cotte volume, Paul Callow's article "An Unlovely Child: The Problem of Unpublished Archaeological Research and John M. Coles's article in response, "Loved and Unloved Children" are included, as well as legal advice regarding defamatory content in the latter.
