This series is composed of files and groupings of material on a variety of topics or activities, which are connected to Anne Stevenson. Some of these files relate to her research activities into her own family history, Sylvia Plath and Elizabeth Bishop. There are also a number of files that hold material connected to lectures, talks and readings that she gave. These particular files contain a broader range of material than those found in the sub-series MS Add.9451/11/2, which are largely just drafts of scripts. Also present are items relating to the honorary doctorates and other academic awards received by Stevenson from both American and British universities. Other files cover the following, but are not limited to: the history of her house in Durham, the Poetry Society's internal dispute in 2011, Carla Buranello's translations of Stevenson's poems into Italian, her essay in the publication, The Legacy of Simone de Beauvoir, Stevenson's role as a judge for the T.S. Eliot Prize, and her proposed candidacy for the Chair of Poetry at the University of Oxford. There are also two boxes of files with letters and photocopies of poems from Geoffrey Dutton, which have been placed into this series rather than the Correspondence Files series, due to the large quantity of material.
