Arrangement
Files/items for identified individuals or organisations have been arranged in alphabetical order; definite and indefinite articles have been disregarded. There are also three miscellaneous files that have been placed at the end of this series, and they have been arranged in chronological order, based upon their contents. These miscellaneous files are artificial in nature.
The material found within this series have come from several accruals deposited with the library over the years, including the original accession in the late 1990s and the final deposit in the early 2020s, following Anne Stevenson's death. Therefore, files for some correspondents hold multiple sub-files within them, representing that items from different accruals have been merged together.
