Scope and Contents
Successor to Molloy as Assistant Commissioner to Intermediate Education Board; feels successor should be a layman: many Roman Catholic clergy and laity concur; suggests Major O'Reilly, M.P. for Longford, he would not now refuse post if offered to him: 'most eminently and exceptionally qualified for it... he was one of the most distinguished students turned out by any of our Catholic Colleges.'
