Copy of letter (typescript) re non-appreciation of Rimbaud, can't believe there is any goodness or beauty in the core of the world. ''Only a sort of rage and fierce Will keeps me going.'' His plans for the future, to teach at Cambridge, and write on social questions. Describes type of people he met in prison. Note at top: ''Copy of a letter from B[ertrand] R[ussell] to me. He quite misunderstands Rimbaud!'' [CCC.39.26].
