Scope and Contents
He cannot look for a setting of Orpheus during Term; knows of no contemporary setting; 'I can't produce settings at the drop of a hat when they don't exist.'; much work at Cambridge - Arts Theatre - City help to music - rebuilding Music School - Cambridge University Music Society; could one of the songs which he proposed long ago be used?; neither needs a male voice; 'I want to indulge you, Dadie, but I can't do so at the expense of abandonig the guiding principles used throughout the scheme so far, in matters to do with authenticity or chronology, music-wise.'
