Scope and Contents
Typescript copies of Bateson's letters to Davenport, 1904-1921, and two letters from Davenport to Bateson's widow. The letters concern scientific and professional matters and Bateson's visit to the USA in 1907. Davenport, 1866-1944, was a prominent American biologist, Director of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and founder of the International Federation of Eugenics Organisations.
