Lectures, 1904-1926
Scope and Contents
'Lectures' presents a chronological sequence of papers (chiefly notes and drafts, sometimes with correspondence, press reports etc.) documenting public lectures by Bateson from 1905 to 1926. Among those represented are the Silliman Lectures delivered at Yale University in 1907; an address to the Royal Society of Medicine on heredity, 1908; lectures given at the Royal Institution, 1912; the Herbert Spencer Lecture, University of Oxford, 1912; and a series of lectures at the University of London, 1921.
