Scope and Contents
Rough minutes in HJ's hand of a conference held at Trinity College and chaired by the Chancellor (Duke of Devonshire), 'to consider the expediency of reducing or abolishing its [the University's] requirements with respect to the dead languages', in order to open the University to a broader range of entrants and attract external funding from 'the moneyed men'.
