Includes: notes on proper names occurring in the chronicle; notes on F. G. Mayer, Beyträge zu einer richtigen Uebersetzung der Syrischen Chronik des Gregorius Bar-hebräus, Vienna, 1819; notes on words occurring in the chronicle, in hand of Lorsbach, 28 Apr. 1799; commentary on the chronicle, in hand of Arnoldi - notes already published in his Chronici Syriaci Abulpharagiani cum scriptoribus Graecis collati specimen, Marburg, 1805, are referenced by the first word or two only; commentary on text of chronicle. Also includes notes in hands of A. J. Arnoldi and of G. W. Lorsbach, respectively professors of theology and of oriental languages at Marburg.
