Scope and Contents
Files of correspondence arranged roughly chronologically. The forms of correspondence include letters, cards, postcards, notes and an e-mail print-out. Most of the items are addressed to John Welch, but a few are addressed jointly to John and Amanda Welch. Many items have been annotated by John Welch with the identity of the correspondent.

Conditions Governing Access
The collection contains personal correspondence. The provisions of the Data Protection Act (1998) apply. Access to documents may be restricted if they contain information exempted from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act, 2000. Papers not relating to the Many Press (MS Add.10064/1) remain uncatalogued and are not available for consultation.
