John Horne of Littleport, weaver, answered William [?Frumant] in an action of trespass on the case relating to the possession of various goods and chattels including two milk cows, a heifer, a steer, two weaning calves, 20 cart-loads of fodder, 10 000 turves and a long list of household and domestic goods [not transcribed], 1 Feb. 1619 at Littleport. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
  2. 1r. John Custans of Sutton, blacksmith, answered John Rose in an action of trespass that on 20 July 1624 he entered Rose’s close situated in a marsh called Middlemoore at Sutton and took and carried away ten cart-loads of fodder worth ten pounds. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
  3. 1v. John Clarke senior of Ely, yeoman, answered Stephen Bateman in an action of trespass on the case relating to an account owed for diverse goods and wares, 21 May 1622 at Ely. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
  4. 1v. Robert Nicholson of Ely, labourer, answered Michael Auger in an action of trespass and ejection that on 29 Apr. 1624 he ejected Auger from a messuage with appurtenances which William Auger junior and Grace, his wife, had leased to Michael. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
  5. 2r. Thomas Patche of Ely, glover, answered Stephen Bateman in an action of trespass on the case relating to the sale and supply of various quantities of cloth including [presson], baize and thread, 5 May 1621 at Ely. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
  6. 3r. Richard Collens of Ely, baker, answered John Furbancke and Helen, his wife, in an action of trespass and assault that on 28 July 1624 he assaulted Helen at Ely. To proceed to jury trial.
  7. 3r. William Chappell of Wisbech, fishmonger, is summoned to answer Mary Blackborne in an action of debt of 40 pounds relating to a bond of obligation of 10 July 1623 at Wisbech. To proceed to the next session.
  8. 3v. Richard Mitchell of Witchford, poulterer, is summoned to answer John [?Gigney] in an action of debt of 40 shillings relating to the sale and supply of a fowls, 31 Mar. 1623 at Wisbech. Mitchell fined; to pay costs and damages.
  9. 3v. John Procter of Ely, husbandman, is summoned to answer Edward Northe senior in an action of debt of four pounds relating to a bill of obligation of 10 Nov. 1623. Procter fined; to pay costs and damages.
  10. 4r. Giles Kilborne of Churcham [Chettisham], yeoman, answered Nathaniel Hardinge in an action of trespass and assault that on [day not stated] July 1624 he assaulted Hardinge at Ely. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
  11. 4r. Thomas Taylor of March, inn holder, answered Robert Blanck in an action of trespass on the case relating to the sale and supply of three pounds of tobacco, 19 Apr. 1623 at Wisbech. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
  12. 4r. William Wilkin of Ely, husbandman, is summoned to answer John Fordham in an action of debt of eight pounds relating to a bond of obligation of 15 Apr. 1622 at Ely. Wilkin fined; to pay costs and damages.

  15. 4v. William Fyson of King’s Lynn, Norfolk, alias of Ely, waterman, is summoned to answer John Webb in an action of debt of ten pounds relating to a bond of obligation of 27 Oct. 1621 at Ely. Fyson fined; to pay costs and damages.
  16. 5r. William More junior of Wisbech, glazier, answered [Origen] Musgrave in an action of trespass on the case relating to a sum of three shillings and four pence borrowed on 30 Nov. 1623 at Wisbech. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
  17. 5r. James Hewet of Ely, labourer, answered William Marrye in an action of trespass that on 20 Jan. 1624 he entered Marrye’s house and close at Ely and dug out, took and carried away two plum trees, 20 planks, ten posts and spars, studs and props. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
  18. 5v. Thomas Stooke of West Walton, Norfolk, yeoman, is summoned to answer William Carpentor in an action of debt of four pounds relating to the lease of land and pasture in West Walton, 20 Sept. 1623. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
  19. 5v. Joseph [?Cowles] of Ely, labourer, and John Prater of Ely, labourer, alias Joseph Prater, are summoned to answer John Day senior in an action of debt of five pounds relating to a bond of obligation of 25 May 1622. [?Cowles] and Prater fined; to pat costs and damages.
