- 4r. Peter Shipp of Wisbech, glover, answered John Sprignall in an action of trespass and assault that on 20 July 1622 he assaulted and imprisoned Sprignall at Wisbech and on the same day put him in the stocks without reasonable cause for three hours. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.

Henry Peck of Wisbech, grocer, John Younge of Elm, labourer, and William Cloughe of Upwell, labourer, answered Thomas Fuller in an action of trespass that on 30 Apr. 1620 their livestock trampled and overgrazed the wheat, rye, barley, peas, oats and grass growing in Fuller’s close in Oldfield in Elm and on 20 Sept. 1620 they took and carried away 40 cart-loads of oats from the same close.
