1. Christopher Johnson, alias Barker, of the city of Lincoln, Lincolnshire, is indicted that on 8 Apr. 1579 he feloniously took and carried away a grey gelded horse worth four pounds, a red saddle worth five shillings and a black stud bridle worth 12 pence from Christopher Kylbecke senior at Wisbech. Guilty; to be hanged.
2. Richard Robinson of Islington, Norfolk, labourer, is indicted that on 30 Apr. 1579 he feloniously took and drove off two cows [called heckforde] coloured black brown and white black and two suckling calves worth three pounds from Francis Hopes at Wisbech. Guilty; to be hanged.
3. Agnes Fowler of Leverington, spinster, is indicted that on 1 Apr. 1576 she practiced magical arts and enchantments on two cows and six calves belonging to William Typpyn of Leverington, husbandman, causing them to die, contrary to statute. Guilty; no goods or property to forfeit.
4. William Padget of Wisbech, labourer, is indicted as a vagrant with no land, no master and no legitimate trade on 10 July 1579 at Wisbech, having been previously indicted as a vagrant on 10 Sept. 1578 and having had his right ear burned. Guilty; allowed benefit of clergy.

6. Robert Yonge of Wisbech, labourer, Oliver Jones of Wisbech, labourer, and Margaret Hebbet, alias Jones, of Wisbech, spinster, are indicted as unlicensed beggars that on 10 June 1579 at Wisbech they had counterfeit or false testimonials. Guilty; to be sent to gaol, put in the pillory in the public market, whipped and to have right ear burned through.

7. John Gregorye of Battlefield, Shropshire, labourer, [Jane] Gregorye of Battlefield, Shropshire, spinster, Edward Wyllyams of Winscombe, Somerset, and Katherine Wyllyams of Winscombe, Somerset, spinster, are indicted as vagrants with no land, no master and no legitimate trade on 5 July 1579 at Wisbech contrary to statute. Guilty; to have the right ear burned through and then to be whipped.
8. Robert Rasshe of Chatteris, labourer, Miles Thompson of Ely, yeoman, and Elizabeth Moreton of Wisbech, spinster, are freed and acquitted.
9. John Gotobed is bound to answer William Maskall of Ramsey, Huntingdonshire, in a plea of trespass and ejection. Lancelot Flower of Ely, gentleman, acts as surety.
10. William Maskall of Ramsey, Huntingdonshire, is bound to answer John Gotobed of Benwick, fisherman, in a plea of trespass. John Slowe of Coveney, yeoman, acts as surety.
11. Gerard Harte of Walsoken, Norfolk, labourer, is bound to answer John Storye of Wisbech, draper, in a plea of debt. Charles Balam, gentleman, [place of abode not stated], acts as surety.
12. Richard Peereson of Walpole, Norfolk, husbandman, is bound to answer Thomas Keymer of Walpole, husbandman, [plea not stated]. Henry Peereson of Wisbech, [cordwainer], and Thomas Thompson of Wisbech, husbandman, act as surety.

19. John Graye of Whittlesey, yeoman, John Banton of Whittlesey, labourer, Robert Pygge of Whittlesey, labourer, and Francis Falken of Whittlesey, labourer, answered Richard Berell, gentleman, in a plea that on 23 July 1579 they broke and entered the close of Berrell at Estrea called [le sells] and cut down, took and carried away ten cart-loads of wood. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
20. James Cryspe of Wisbech, yeoman, answered John Smythe in a plea of non-payment of eight pounds, relating to the lease of 17 acres of land with appurtenances in Walsoken, Norfolk, 25 Mar. 1577. Cryspe denies the land was leased. To proceed to jury trial.
21. Thomas Bulwarde of Emneth, Norfolk, answered Edward Rydge in a plea of trespass on the case relating the sum of ten pounds and a bond of obligation, [day and month not stated] 1577 at Wisbech. To proceed to jury trial.

22. Thomas Bulwarde of Emneth, Norfolk, yeoman, answered Thomas Harvye in a plea of non-payment of eight pounds and ten shillings, reckoned in arrears, 31 May 1578 at Wisbech. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
23. Richard Pereson, [place of abode and occupation not stated], answered Thomas Keymer in a plea of trespass on the case, relating to the purchase of four heifers with a certain John Olyver, 6 Apr. 1579. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.

24. William Jetherell of Witcham, yeoman, answered Hugh Barber in a plea of trespass that on 2 Aug. [?1569] he forcibly, with swords, sticks and daggers, took and carried away five cart-loads of hay to the value of six pounds. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
25. John Crane, son of William Crane of Lakenheath, Suffolk, answered John Tayler in a plea of trespass on the case that he took possession of a skiff or boat worth three pounds at a certain marsh called the Sedge Fen at Ely on 7 July 1579. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.

John Godbed, alias Gotobed, of Benwick, fisherman, answered William Mascall in a plea of trespass and ejection that on 16 Jan. 1578 he forcibly ejected Mascall from three separate fishponds in Benwick which had been leased to Mascall for a term which had not yet expired. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.

27. Thomas Swayne, [place of abode and occupation not stated], answered William Acres and Robert Jessope in a plea of trespass and ejection that on 1 June 1578 he forcibly ejected Acres and Jessope from 12 acres of pasture with appurtenances in Wisbech which Thomas Jessope had leased to the pair for a term which had not yet expired. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
28. William Marshall of Thetford, cleric, and Robert Saye of Thetford, labourer, answered John Bucke in a plea of trespass that on 30 Apr. 1579 they broke and entered his close at Thetford. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
29. John Randes of Sutton, husbandman, and Richard Meryn of Sutton, bowstring-maker, answered Thomas Gallant, gentleman, in a plea of trespass that on 20 Aug. 1578 they broke and entered his close at Sutton and cut down and carried away wheat growing there to the value of five pounds. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.

30. Roger North, knight, [second Baron North] brought a suit against Robert Jetherell concerning two messuages, two gardens, 89 acres of land, 35 acres of meadow and four acres of pasture with appurtenances in Witcham. A certain John Chamberleyne is called to court; he is in contempt of court at the next session and fined.
31. Thomas Proctor, [place of abode and occupation not stated] answered John Ewsden in a plea of non-payment which Proctor borrowed from Ewsden at Ely, [date left blank]. To proceed to jury trial.
