Records of governance and finance are restricted for 50 and 30 years respectively by order of the Library Syndicate. Records containing personal data restricted for 80 years under data protection legislation. Restrictions are clearly indicated in catalogue entries.
Biographical / Historical
The Medical Library, established in 1973, was administratively part of the University Library from the outset though located at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

ULIB 13/10/1-2, 4-9 were transferred to the University Library from the Medical Library on 31 July 2017.
