Many of these volumes and articles contain annotations, with papers or correspondence inserted. They are 'secondary' sources in that they are copies of original documents or printed sources, but can contain 'primary' sources as well.
It is not the aim of the Press Archive to hold a comprehensive list of titles relating to Press history, but in some cases scarce volumes or articles have been preserved. Cambridge University Library holds many books about the Press, and some are noted in a bibliography at the start of the catalogue.
Booklets relating specifically to printing or publishing (rather than the history of the Press) have been placed in PRESS 2 or PRESS 3.
