Scope and Contents
Maps.KGM 7.1 = Coloured edition, with hachures and contours ; Maps.KGM 7.3 = District maps, coloured with hachures and contours. A few maps have covers made by Guy Messenger, usually out of pink cardboard with typed map details. Many of the maps at maps.KGM.7.1 were stored in slip-cases made by Guy Messenger, mainly from 'Grape Nut' boxes (sometimes covered, usually with white paper and white tape or sticky-back plastic ; "Grape Nuts, crunchy wheat & malted barley breakfast cereal. Stays crunchy in milk"). Most of the maps at Maps.KGM.7.3 were stored in large slip-cases made by Guy Messenger from cardboard and tape or sticky-back plastic. Only samples of the boxes have been retained.
