Nine Old Series quarter sheets printed on cartridge paper (in two cases on India paper attached to the cartridge paper)., 1832 - 1840
Scope and Contents
Some sheets have incomplete hachures or other ornament at the edges, or incomplete imprints. Probably produced as part of the production process. Two maps are printed on India paper attached to the cartridge paper. The others are on a rather softer paper than usual, no watermark, pressed smooth on the printing side - definitely does not seem to be a standard paper of c.1840.
