Scope and Contents
ff.I + 520 + II; 235 x 150mm; text size 175 x 95mm; 16 lines rebound in brown tooled leather stamped in gold on spine "New Testament in Hindoostanee by Rev. H. Martyn".
Red ink is used for verse numbers and chapter headings etc. Marginal notes in English, partly trimmed off by rebinding process.
Translated by Henry Martyn and copies by an unnamed scribe. Published Serampore Mission Press for BFBS, 1814 (IC 2650 - see note to this entry for further details of the translation).
