Psalms 1-50, 1823
Scope and Contents
ff.66; 222 x 139mm; text size 140 x 80mm; 13 lines in a clear Nastaliq hand, bound in cardboard.
Collation: 1-7(8), 8(10) (1 excised, 1 blank). Ruled by hard point on paper watermarked J. Whatman, 1819. Red ink is used for headings, punctuation marks and verse numbers.
Translated by William Glen and Mīr Abū Talib Māzandarāni (unable to transcrive some diacritics; see p. 201 in the printed catalogue, "Historical catalogue of the manuscripts of Bible House Library", BFBS, 1982), this is evidently a preliminary draft - though dated the same year - for BFBS MS 406. Again, there is a Persian title and the pages are foliated by names of numbers, not letters.
