Scope and Contents
ff.I +261 + I; 227 x 140mm; text size 160 x 80mm; 13 lines in a poor Nastaliq hand on dark, rather rough paper, bound in red leather with ‘Gospel. Persian MS’ stamped in gold on spine.
Collation: 1-3(12), 4(8) (ff.41-42 pasted after 4) 5-6(12), 7(12), (8-9 are a conjoined pair, pasted after 7), 8(12), 9(12) (f.103 excised), 10(12), 11(12) (f.120 blank), 12-21(12), 22(12) + 1 (f.261).
Possibly copied in India, and certainly found there c.1835. One or two folios are missing from the end of the MS, approximately 16 verses.
